Noon enables scalable, clean firm power

Three key components work together:

Noon's reversible electrofuels battery

1.
Power block

Reversible solid oxide fuel cell technology efficiently converts between electricity and stored energy.

2.
Charge tank

Converts excess renewable electricity into carbon-based media storage, releasing oxygen to air. Energy-dense for compact storage.

3.
Discharge tank

Draws oxygen from air to convert stored energy back to electricity through a clean and efficient process that uses abundant materials.

Decoupled power and energy

Want more power? Add power blocks
Need more duration? Just increase tank size

Unlike conventional batteries that require duplicating expensive electrodes to increase capacity, Noon's system separates power (determined by the power block) from energy (determined by the tank size).

This architecture keeps costs nearly flat as storage duration increases, making multi-day to seasonal storage economically viable.
